The Ray Award is named after Ray Recchi, a
columnist, patron, and friend of Hill, Hill Performing
Arts, Inc.
Ray was a great supporter of performing arts efforts.
In keeping with our policy to include guest
artists in musical productions, Ray performed with
the students in several HHPA shows. His biggest participation
was in the musical Guys
and Dolls where he played the role of Big Juli.
Ray was also an important part as an on-stage participant
in the 1998 HHPA reunion celebration Singing
Our Own Song.
