I was fortunate to move
here to Manhattan in 1999 and renew friendships
with so many other HHPA alumni. It's now hard
to imagine being somewhere else.
My sons (Aaron, Daniel, and Benjamin) are three
very different, but wonderful young men. I am
indeed, a lucky man. Aaron (my oldest) was married
in June of 2006 and made me a grandfather last
year. How did that happen? :-) Daniel is in
College studying music business (uh-oh), and
Benjamin also is studying Music ministry at
a private college in San Diego. .
By profession, I am a technologist. I majored
in electrical engineering and have been involved
in information technology (network infrastructure
and application development, computer design,
integrated circuit design, databases, software,
etc)., since the late 70's.
I’m a woodworker, baseball nut, love travel,
brewing, music (of course), and read quite a
bit. Alma, the older I get, the more I enjoy
some of the classics and writers of our age
(Michener, Irving, Steinbeck, Rand, etc.)
Some life goals include reading every Michener
novel (sixteen have now been completed), writing
my own novel(s), and retiring early. Guess I'd
better hurry on that one! LOL
Alas, I'd better change the picture too...
there are more grey hairs now...

After graduation from Nova
in '72, I attended Rollins College and earned
a BA in music with a major in applied voice.
It was difficult to be earning a degree in music
and do theatre, but I did manage to be a part
of the FANTASTIKS (Luisa) and MUSIC MAN (Zenita
Shinn).
I spent
some time in NYC and New Jersey after graduation
and thought I'd like to do studio work or voice
overs. It was a lot more difficult than I thought!
In the middle of this I married my college beau
who worked in the financial district in NYC.
I wasn't planning on being a music teacher,
but while I was visiting my parents in Cape
Cod, the telephone rang... and I was hired!
I've now been teaching in the same school for
nineteen years. I direct two choruses and a
select show choir. I've been the musical director
for several musicals at both the middle school
and high school levels as well as the director
of many revues and variety shows.
I'm still married and have three children ages
12, 9, and 5. My husband owns a local CPA firm.
In recent years I've sung with the Chatam Chorale,
the MasterSingers of Cape Cod, and the Mostly
Medievil Carolers. I've been a part of the musical
GUYS AND DOLLS and KISS ME KATE. I've also been
having a great time being a substitute singer;
it's always an adventure.

I am a native born Floridian
and joined Atlantic Foundation's Dance department
in 1972. Upon the Hall/Hill arrival I became
a performing arts major and was in all of the
shows with Atlantic Foundation. In 1983, I turned
professional and did shows in Miami, New York,
and Aruba. I retired from show biz in 1987.
For the past 21 years I have enjoyed a career as a mortgage banker with 17 of those years with WELLS FARGO HOME MORTGAGE. I was the producing branch manager for the Fort Lauderdale office and funded 25 to 30 million dollars in residential loans personally. I did retire from Wells Fargo in May of 2007 but I am currently brokering loans. I specialize in FHA/VHA, first time home buyers, jumbo mortgages, and purchases and refinances anywhere in the USA!
I enjoy working out daily, shopping, and ballroom dancing. I am now competing in ballroom and I attribute much of my success to the wonderful years of dance and theatre at the Atlantic Foundation For The Performing Arts.
I am currently with Sterling Asset & Equity
Corp, doing financing for family, friends
and past clients.
