Michael and I have been really
busy. Michael is still doing EFX in Las Vegas
with Tommy Tune. I have my own production company
now. We will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary
in August.
I am currently co-producing "The Mystery
of Edwin Drood" for Las Vegas. Davy Jones
(of "The Monkees") will be playing
the role that George Rose played in the Broadway
production. Rupert Holmes has asked me to reprise
my role as Edwin. So I guess I'll be putting
on the pants once again! Just as the audience
got to pick which ending they wanted for the
show on Broadway, the audience will get to gamble
on the ending in Las Vegas. We'll keep you posted
on the details of this production as they become
available.

Dave
Olsen

Dave was privileged to be one of the original members of the Nova HS Contemporary Music program and was involved, in one way or another, in their first 6 productions (4 musicals / 2 revues). Generally, he could be found behind the piano for rehearsals and in the "pit" for the musicals. His only on-stage credit came as the Bass in the (1971) "Music Man" quartet. Following Nova, Dave moved on to college where he ultimately met a beautiful young soprano ... Becky. This "blessed union of souls" continues to this day and has produced three amazing children and a mountain of magnificent memories.
Presently, Dave is VP/Publisher for OnlineSheetMusic.com, an online publisher of digital sheet music. Olsen has been a Board of Directors member of the Music Publishers Association; a founding member of the original National Music Publishers Association’s Internet Anti-Piracy Taskforce and served as an Online Facilitator and Professor for the Berklee College of Music. Among a host of his music-related activities, Olsen is regularly called upon to lecture on music property and copyright matters at music conventions and universities and, along with wife Becky, has been involved in music ministry at South Florida area Methodist Churches for the past 30 years. Dave has also served as the President of HPPA since its founding in 1998.
